What is Kspace?

KSPACE - project is one of the strategic initiatives of Government of Kerala to promote establishment of industries in the most rewarding

01._What Kspace do?

Kerala Spacepark, a registered society, under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955 fully owned by Government of Kerala. KSPACE is mandated to:

  • Promote industries in the space technology sector and the associated domains in defense and aerospace
  • Provide incubation space for start-ups and scaleups involved in space, aerospace and defense in Kerala
  • Act in tandem with policies of Government of Kerala for the development of investments in the field of space, aerospace and defense
  • Give full support to the government through active implementation of its decisions and directions, independently or in association or co-operation with any other organization as deem fit and to attract/catalyze investments

02._Focus

KSPACE is planning to collaborate with ISRO, IN-SPACE, and NSIL.

The presence of three major centers of ISRO, namely VSSC, LPSC, and IISU, offers a huge talent pool of space technology experts.

Space technology is experiencing phenomenal growth with the entrance of major private enterprises such as SpaceX, Amazon, Blue Origin, etc.
